Rough Logics and some suggestions towards their application to Approximate Reasoning

I will present a brief introduction of rough set theory and then a series of logics which may be called rough logics since their models are rough sets defined in different ways from various perspectives. These are essentially extensions of modal logics. At the end I would like to hint at some possible applications of the logics to approximate reasoning using so called "rough modus ponens rules".
